How I Asked My Bridesmaids

One of the first things I did after Phillip and I got engaged was begin working on my bridesmaids "proposal." I knew my bridesmaids long before he got down on one knee, so I was eager to ask them!

After scouring Pinterest, I decided a bridesmaid box would be perfect! They were so much fun to put together and I was thrilled with how they turned out!

Inside the box I included a few "self care" items like bubbly, nail polish, lip balm and chocolate!

I loved these sweet info cards, I was able to include information about the big day, their role, the bridesmaid dresses and our wedding colors. Such a fun way to share these important details.

I wanted to include something as a "nod" to our wedding, these OKC coffee mugs (also from Etsy) were perfect! I love this sketch of downtown OKC, a wonderful representation of the city where we'll say "I do!"

I forgot to snap a photo of the last item in the box, a hand written letter to each of my friends. It was very important for me to express how much I value their friendship. These women have been with me through thick and thin...if not for them, I'm not sure where I'd be. I am so blessed to have such wonderful friends.

I ordered the gift boxes from oriental trading. To personalize them, I went to our local scrapbook store and asked them to create a custom monogram using gold vinyl to match the boxes.

I loved how these turned out and was very excited to present them to my closest friends. The girls LOVED them and of course, they all said "yes!"

Before I sign off, let me introduce you to my leading ladies!

I love each and every one of these women and am honored to have them by my side at our wedding. I hope they know how special they are to me!

New Year, New Adventures

Photography by Magnolia Adams

2018 brought an abundance of blessings to my job, new ring! new land (more on that later), new opportunities and many, many happy memories. As much as we loved 2018, we are very excited for what's ahead in 2019. May this year carry as many blessings as the last.

Happy New Year!
