My weekend in Broken Bow

Lately, I've felt like somewhat of a travel blogger...and you know what? I could totally get used to it!

February was pretty awesome, if I do say so myself. Two trips in one month? Heck yeah!

If you missed my trip to Galveston, check it out here.

Last weekend I ventured out into the woods...I never knew one could have so much fun in the middle of nowhere! But oh boy! did I have a blast!

Late Friday night we arrived to the most beautiful log cabin!

I tried to snap a few pics before the girls took over the place

*side note, I forgot to mention that the trip was in honor of my book club one year anniversary.

We watched chick flicks!

Oh! and here is what our cabin looked like during the day:

Our surroundings were just breathtaking. I went on a hike one morning, it was stunning.

Saturday afternoon we ventured into town to visit the local winery.

I couldn't leave without snagging a few goodies!

For dinner we ate at the most ah-mazing pizza place! (The Grateful Head)

It was the perfect weekend getaway, and only a three hour drive from home!

If you're interested in more information about our cabin, check out their website here or call the number pictured below.

*Beavers Bend Creative Escapes has no idea who I am. I just really want you to go there because it is so dang pretty!

I hope you all are having a marvelous day! See you in March! (which is tomorrow! I cant believe it!)

High Five for Friday

Hello internet! It's been a while! I hope you all are doing well!

This week has been a little crazy!

Today (for the first time in a loooong time) I am linking up with Lauren for High Five for Friday.

1. When this week began, I was at the ocean.

2. A plane ride home and 48 hours later...

snow.
3. Several months ago I came across this photo on pinterest and fell in love with the sunburst mirrors. Slowly, I've been collecting mirrors in the hopes of recreating this look.

A few days ago, I found the most beautiful mirror on Joss and Main! I cant wait to add it to my collection! (Now I have three mirrors, I'm half way there!)

*Side note, have you been on Joss and main? Well I must warn you, you will love every single thing they have. Check it out here.
4. Last week my dad sent me this card for Valentine's Day. He is so sweet. This week I enjoyed two meals on him! Thanks dad!

5. This weekend I'm going on a girls trip to Beavers Bend (a.k.a. the middle of nowhere). We are renting this beautiful cabin...

I'm told it is absolutely beautiful. I can't wait!

Galveston Texas, I adore you.

If you follow me on instagram, you know that I've been away from home. I took a weekend getaway to Galveston and oh my did I have a marvelous time!

My grandfather has a beach house in Galveston, so I decided to pay him a visit.

For the most part, I will let the photos speak for themselves...Galveston is such a charming town.

Nothing better than fresh shrimp!

I just loved their kitchen
Doggy door under the bench, brilliant.

See the hanging globes?
Walks on the beach are my favorite.

This is my Poppa, he had no idea I took his picture.
I love him more than fresh shrimp and walks on the beach.

The houses were spectacular

Of course, we went to the theatre...
...and toured this 120 year-old mansion.
We ate brunch at this stunning hotel

See that table in the window? That was ours.

I went a little crazy
I'm swooning over this piece of coral I brought home.
It looks so lovely under my grandmother's painting.

Poppa, thank you for showing me such a wonderful time. I will treasure the memories forever... I love you so very much.
