O pot roast, how I love thee.


Simple ingredients with complex taste,

my family devoured with lack of grace.

Rosemary and thyme none compare,

your delicious smell filled the air.

Carrots and Onions that melt in your mouth,

that’s how we like em' in the south.

The beef was splendid with garlic galore,

never had we such a meal before.

When it was time to clean up we said our goodbyes

to the pot roast that brought sweet tears to our eyes.
